An iOS app that suggests recipes with AI based on the ingredients you have: step-by-step recipes, servings-aware ingredient amounts and nutrition facts.
The idea
A kitchen assistant that answers “I have minced meat, onions and potatoes; what can I cook?” in seconds.
What it offers
- AI recipe assistant: You type the ingredients you have, and the assistant suggests recipes with preparation time, difficulty, ingredients and steps.
- Recipe discovery: Categories, filtering by preparation time and search.
- Personalization: Ingredient amounts are recalculated when the number of servings changes, and the cooking method can be chosen.
- Step-by-step recipes: Ingredient lists, preparation steps and tips, with nutrition facts showing protein, carbohydrate, fat and fibre.
- Details: Favourites and sharing, dark mode, and an interface in English, Turkish and German.
How we built it
We built it for iOS with React Native and released it for free on the App Store in December 2024. Later updates made the assistant faster and more accurate.
