A story platform for watch enthusiasts: the stories of iconic watches and brands, a brand archive and search, in Turkish and English.
The idea
Watches do more than tell the time: behind every model there is a design, an era and a story. Horvox brings these stories together in well-written articles with strong imagery.
What it offers
- Stories: Articles about models from brands such as Rolex, Omega, Grand Seiko, Hamilton, Tissot, Citizen and Casio, with reading time, view counts and tags.
- Brand archive: A page for each brand with its history and stories, plus search and sorting.
- Home page: Featured and latest stories in carousels, and the prestige brands at a glance.
- Sharing and newsletter: Every story can be shared on social media or as a link, and readers can subscribe to the newsletter.
- Two languages: Turkish and English.
How we built it
- Next.js and React: Server-rendered, search-friendly pages.
- Firebase: The content backend for stories, brands and view counts.
- Ready to share: Automatically generated social preview images for every page, and separate sitemaps per language.
