Tarifçe Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy explains what data is processed when you use Tarifçe: Yemek Tarifleri (the “App”; formerly ChefMasterAI), a mobile app developed by YegCode. Our website has a separate privacy policy.
In short
- You don’t need to create an account or give us your name or email. We don’t run a server.
- The recipes are built into the App; it works without an internet connection.
- Your favourites, shopping list, selected ingredients and settings are stored only on your device.
- The App shows banner and interstitial ads through Google AdMob. Your advertising identifier (IDFA) is shared only if you allow it in iOS’s tracking prompt.
- The Ad-free purchase is made through the App Store. Apple takes the payment; your card and payment details never reach us.
- We don’t use any analytics or tracking tools.

What data we process
1. Data that stays on your device
Your favourite recipes, shopping list, the ingredients you select on the Elimdekiler (Pantry) screen, your theme preference, your daily reminder setting, the counters used to pace ads and whether you bought Ad-free are stored in the App’s data on your device. This data is not sent to us or to any other server, and it is deleted when you delete the App.
2. Notifications
The App can send two kinds of notifications: a reminder when a timer you started in cooking mode finishes and, if you turn it on, a daily recipe suggestion every evening. These notifications are created locally on your device; no notification server is used and no data is sent anywhere for them. Notification permission is requested only when you turn these features on. You can turn the daily suggestion off in the App under Ayarlar › Günlük tarif önerisi (Settings › Daily recipe suggestion), and notification permission on your iPhone under Settings › Notifications.
3. If you email us
If you email yeg2799@gmail.com, your name, email address and message are processed only to reply to you.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The App shows ads through Google’s advertising service, Google AdMob:
- Banner ads: small ad slots inside some screens.
- Interstitial (full-screen) ads: occasionally when you open a recipe; at most once every 5 recipes, at least 3 minutes apart, and never during your first session with the App.
- No ads are shown in cooking mode.
- Ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience (at most “PG”).
Data processed by Google
To show ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the App sends the following data directly to Google:
- Device identifiers: the advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allowed tracking; and an app- or developer-specific device identifier (e.g. IDFV).
- IP address and the approximate location estimated from it. Precise location is not collected.
- Device and app information: technical details such as device model, operating system version, language and app version.
- Advertising data: the ads shown to you and interactions such as taps.
- Diagnostics: crash logs and performance data.
Google uses this data to select and show ads, prevent fraud, measure ad performance and improve its own services. If you gave consent, it may also use it to personalise ads based on your interests.
We don’t see or store this data; in the AdMob dashboard we only see aggregated reports (e.g. impressions and revenue by country). How Google uses data is explained in the Google Privacy Policy and on How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Permissions and your choices
- Tracking permission (iOS): On first launch, iOS’s tracking prompt appears. If you allow it, Google may use your advertising identifier (IDFA) to personalise and measure ads. If you don’t, your advertising identifier is not shared; ads are still shown but may be less relevant to you. You can change your decision at any time on your iPhone under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: Google’s consent form is shown, where you choose whether to consent to personalised ads and the processing of advertising data. You can change your choice at any time in the App under Ayarlar › Gizlilik ve reklam tercihleri (Settings › Privacy and ad preferences). This link appears only in regions where the consent form is required.
- Ad-free: If you bought Ad-free, no ads are shown in the App.
In-app purchase: Ad-free
The App offers a one-time Ad-free purchase that permanently removes all ads. The purchase is made through Apple’s App Store. Apple takes the payment; your card or payment details never reach us.
- What we keep: Only whether you bought Ad-free, on your device. We don’t keep it on a server.
- Restoring: If you delete and reinstall the App or move to a new device, Ayarlar › Satın alımı geri yükle (Settings › Restore purchase) brings your purchase back from your Apple account.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Data we don’t collect
We don’t collect your name, email, phone number, address, precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health or payment information. Your searches and the recipes you open are not sent to us. The advertising identifier (IDFA) is passed to Google only if you allow iOS tracking.
Earlier versions (ChefMasterAI)
Versions before 3.0 included an AI recipe assistant and related online services. These features were removed in version 3.0; the App no longer sends data to those services, and local data left over from earlier versions is deleted from your device on first launch. If you have a data request about earlier versions, you can email us.
Service providers and international transfers
- Google (Google AdMob, advertising). Google is also an independent controller of advertising data. Data may be processed on Google’s servers outside Türkiye, including in the United States. Google privacy policy
- Apple (App Store, in-app purchase payments, tracking permission, notifications). Apple’s own privacy policy applies.
International transfers are made with the safeguards required by Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the GDPR.
Legal basis
- Ads: your iOS tracking permission for the advertising identifier and, in Europe, your choice in Google’s consent form; otherwise our legitimate interest in offering the App for free.
- Ad-free purchase record: providing the product you bought (performance of a contract).
- Support emails: legitimate interest.
Retention
Data on your device stays there until you delete the App. Advertising data is kept by Google under Google’s retention periods; we don’t store it. Support emails are deleted within a reasonable time after your request is resolved.
Children
The App is rated 4+ and is intended for a general audience; it is not in the App Store’s Kids category. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children: the App has no accounts, chat or user-generated content. The App contains Google AdMob ads and a one-time purchase through the App Store. Parents can turn off tracking under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, restrict purchases with Screen Time, or require approval with Family Sharing’s “Ask to Buy”.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, to object to processing and to data portability. You can remove the data on your device by deleting the App. You can send requests to yeg2799@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days at the latest. You can also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or the supervisory authority in your country.
Security
The App doesn’t send data to any server of ours. Advertising data is sent to Google over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on Google’s infrastructure.
Changes
When we update this policy, we publish the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
